You might be in the market for a magnification device. Here we'll go over some of the most common devices growers use to inspect their crop.
Jeweler's Loupe: A loupe is a small magnification device that does not have a handle. These devices are handheld, convenient, and typically offer 10-60x magnification. They may or may not have lighting attached to them (commonly in the form of an LED), and they are easy to use. Jeweler's loupes are the ones most often used by growers.
Downsides to these devices include low magnification compared to other options.

Handheld Magnifier: These devices are sometimes referred to as 'pocket microscopes'. They typically offer increased magnification and clarity vs loupes, and also often have lighting. Handheld/pocket magnifier magnification ranges are typically between 20x-120x.
While these devices offer increase magnification, they are sometimes difficult to get a clear view when simply holding the device due to increased zoom.
